Leak in bathroom

Post by Aviongirl1995 »

A couple weeks ago I was doing dishes and someone was outside working and noticed lots of water pouring out from the bottom of my Avion, coming from above the wheel axil. My model has a full bed in the back and a bathroom in the middle. We couldn’t find the source of the leak. Then today after taking a shower we discovered lots of water filling the hallways outside, under the laminate flooring and causing it to buckle. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to begin fixing this?

What does your command center say about the level in the gray tank?

I got home after it had flooded the trailer and the tanks had been drained and it registered as empty

They were probably full when it flooded. I have since taken a shower and it still flooded just not as bad.. even with the drain left open.. so I’m not sure what’s happening

I am trying to visualize a problem area that would cause water leakage when you are using the kitchen sink, AND when you are taking a shower.

Is the leakage definitely drain water? Or could it be a supply line problem?

Have you removed your access panel behind your shower?

What is the year and model of your trailer? Do you have an owners manual showing a plumbing schematic?

The access panel on the back side of the shower/tub valve can be removed by unscrewing the two screws on that panel, then slide it left or right to allow it to clear the vertical wood trim pieces.

I have a 1983 34W
I do not have a manual and have not been able to find one online. I had someone look at the trailer, the removed the panel to look under the bathtub and the pan underneath was full and the connector for the drain had broken. They repaired it and it hasn’t flooded inside but I’m not sure if that’s the only leak

I am glad to hear that you got that fixed. I hope that's the end of it.

Maybe the next test would be to run a kitchen sink full of water down the drain and see what happens....
