Prior owner, new hopeful
Hello group,
My family and I are not just fans of the Avion, but former owners (long story) of a 1985 25H. We sold our first pull behind- silver twinkie (yep, our kids nickname) so that we could get a "bigger" plastic camper for our family. Though the couple that bought the camper also became addicted to Avion (we're happy for them), less than a year later we have become extremely regretful. We are hoping to become owners again...soon after or before (depending on the price ) we sell our plastic camper.
The best thing about our experience is that it was "our" experience as a family with the silver twinkie. The longevity of the 25H was such a positive and we cannot not stop looking at anything shiny since that regretful day.
In the meantime, we'll be posting and hoping for Silver Twinkie II.

Hello and welcome! Hope you find your Silver Twinkie II soon! Are you looking for a specific model? Be sure to also check out the FB groups. There seem to be for sale postings there often.

KYAvion,
Thank you for the welcome. We've been hoping to find an Avion that is 25' to 30'. When we are not using it, we plan on parking it in our driveway which is not that long. We have looked at the la grande, the 28t, and several others. Actually, we really love the late 70's to mid 80's style of travel trailer but I think that's because it's what we know and have worked on. We are looking but I will say I was so blessed to see the ones you,Razorback, and others were posting as finds on the board. This gave us hope. Thank you and we'll keep our eyes peeled.
Take care!

Good luck on your search, am I counting right? Six campers for a 25'? Curious to know what floor plan your thinking to sleep everyone comfortably.

Too bad. It was a really nice looking late 70’s model. I think 28 footer.Razorback wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 11:04 pmLooks like it has been deleted... I wonder what it was?KYAvion wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 8:49 pm @SilverTwinkie

I’ll be selling my 1985 25H soon! It has a new custom mattress from a boat company that was able to make the curve. Couch has been custom reupholstered in a cool jean denim. Some new curtains. Brand new Goodyear load range E tires. I will be putting up for sale after the new year.
