Not mine - 1972 Avion LaGrande, Blue Grass, IA

Has anyone seen this? I'd love to go get it myself just to flip, if nothing else!

I called and spoke with Fred....for almost an hour! Super-nice guy! He said he towed it easily with a 1/2-ton. He obtained the Avion from an aunt and uncle who had passed. He had been using it to take to Arizona in the winter, but bought another camper to keep there. He has an air conditioner that can be added..... shouldn't be difficult as these Avions were all wired for the option. It would go in place of one of the roof vents. He said the tires are fairly new, and the front couch still has the original plastic on it! What caught my eye was the asking price..... $3500, and the impressive condition. It is obvious from the markings on the front right corner that the previous owners went to a LOT of Avion Travelcade gatherings. The front rock guard has obviously seen better days. They can be obtained through Chuck Cayo in Watervliet, MI.

Blue Grass, IA is just west of Davenport.
