I have five steel wheels, five tires that are aired up, and six hubcaps from my 1984 30R available.

I came home to north central Ohio from South Dakota on these tires/wheels last fall.

I have changed to 16 inch Sendel T03 wheels and Michelin LTX M/S2 LT225/75R16/E 115/112R tires.

The wheels, tires, and hubcaps are free to an Avion owner.

Best regards,

Russ

KYAvion. it is coming along well.

I redid the tail lights to LED doubles. No backup lights in the fixtures.

Changed all interior lights to LEDs

I installed the Dexter Axle (K71-359-00) Heavy Duty Suspension Kit = All new Wet bolts, Bronze Bushing, Equalizers, Shackle Link Assemblys.

Cleaned and repacked bearings and installed new seals.

Installed 5 new SENDEL T03 ALUMINUM TRAILER WHEELS WITH BLACK MACHINED FINISH 16X6.

Installed 5 Michelin LTX MS/2 LT225/75/16 (19/17 DOT date) no miles yet.

Moved the couch from across the front to the driver side.

Lynne is sanding, sealing. and refinishing the cabinets.

Have ordered new flooring to be delivered this week.

I think I am going to take the rear bumper off and have it power coated. It is in excellent shape, the paint is just chipped.

I will start on cleaning and resealing the roof. very soon. when we have overcast days.

I changed the three bypass valves in the water system to Pex and changed some of the water lines to Pex.

I am going to put a TV lift forward of the door. We do not do traditional TV but do stream a lot of Amazon content.

Best regards,

Russ

Sounds great! What prompted the suspension upgrade?

You happen to have a link to the interior LEDs you used?

I liked what nralifer had done to his W.

I really like this trailer and it is very solid. So we decided to make it better than new on the under carriage. I forgot to tell you earlier, I also put new shocks on.

I did not change out the brakes. They were in very good shape.

When I did the bearings I saw that a former owner had greased them very well. They would have gone 1000's of miles but I did not know that before I pulled them. Seals were tight and no grease on the braking surfaces.

We have a joke here about going to Alaska in the trailer for the summer. Well, we could really go with the improvements that have been done.

We purchased our LEDs from http://www.LED4RV.com

I think when you recommended the trailer to me, the refrigerator was not going to work on propane. But it does. I think the former owner just did not know how to force it to propane.

Best regards,

Russ

BTW, did you go with the warm or bright white LEDs? I swapped out my mr16 bulbs at home recessed and cable lighting) with LEDs and had to experiment with about a dozen different bulbs before finding the right color temp and intensity.

We used warm white.

Dan Brown owns the website and advised us.

Hi, Russedgar,

I am new to this site, so am not sure about the norms, here.

I have a 1986 avion 25' (dual axle) with a center bath. I have had it for 3 years, taken it from TX to NC, to CA, and up to MT via Utah, Colorado, WY, where we saw the eclipse last year.

A while back, I hit a big pothole, and lost two hubcaps on the curb side, and not bothered to try to find replacements, partly because what the previous owner put on were not original.

If you still have the hubcaps, I would be interested, and likely would take all you have, to keep the set together.

I may be coming from TX to Charlotte NC at some point this spring, and could pass by your place then, if it would work for you.

Thanks for your time, and best wishes.

Yes, I still have the hubcaps. I think there are six plus wheels and tires if you want them. I am at 43019 in North Central Ohio. About an hour north east of Columbus.

If you are coming thru you can boondock here for the night/nights. We are a Boondockerswelcome.com host.

Best regards,

Russ
