Hey guys,
On the topic of interior LEDs I ended up with these. Nothing I could find had a true warmth, the ones I got from led4rv had a green cast and the customer service was spotty at best. I’m a designer in the film business and photographer so I am very sensitive to light temperature, these matched my old incandescents best.
Cheap enough for multiple backups but haven’t had any burn out or get hot...

Just another option.

How is the overall brightness of those bulbs compared to the incadescents? Also, do you see much of the details of the bulb itself through the fixture?

I tried a few different bulbs and some were way too warm for me, and some were way to blue. Some were the right color for me, but weren't bright enough. I found these and they seem to work pretty well. The brightness is close to the incandescents and the light is pretty clean--not too crisp or bluish. The covering around the bulb does a decent job hiding the look of the LED bulb inside the fixture as well, so you don't see a bunch of the individual LED's.
