converter questrion.

Post by Mvanston »

Hi, newbie question here. need some help with my converter. when plugged into shore power, there is no 12v, when hook up towing electrics, 12v works which leads me to assume converter is bad. When i looked at the charge sentinel and took the cover off there is just a blank space where I assume the converter should reside. I have a 1982 324w. Looks to me that the converter was removed, I guess my question is , is that where the original converter should reside? Or am I looking in wrong area. If so I guess I can just wire a new 30 amp converter into existing wiring. ANy converter recommendations? Going to use trailer as permanent guest house so no need for batteries etc as will hook up to 30amp circuit.

It sounds like the original 12V converter section was removed. Do you have the model info and pics of the rest of the electrical panel?
