How to read metal ID tag

Post by Rbohno »

The people down the road have had an Avion A25 sitting in the driveway by the their mobile home for about 15 yrs. I think they are using it for storage. It looks rough on the outside so can only imagine the inside. Not to worried about inside because I have a small wood shop.

So the ID tag says FH-25116 model A-25

I don’t have a clue what to offer, expecting a floor up gut job. Oh we are in NC

FH-25116..... if i remember correctly, the first 2 letters equate to numbers...F=6, H=8, 68 for the model year. The A-25 is Argonaut, 25'.
Look in the documentation section for a 1967 brochure..... similar to the 1968's.
