Grew up with trailers, finally getting one of my own

Hello to all!
Just inherited a 1984 Avion.
As it was covered by a huuuuge protective cover/tarp, I don't know any more than that.
Here is the VIN - 1EE1R3022E9303878
I'm hoping someone has a decoder or way of telling me the wonders that await me under the tarp.

I'll be towing it home next summer with my 2000 7.3L Excursion.
I think they will make a great team.
-AL

Yeah, I'm pretty excited! :D :D :D
Looking forward to sleeping in a real bed when camping.
Been tenting for 20 years.

The trailer belonged to my brother-in-law, who was meticulous and kept everything pristine, so, other than some tire rot and maybe pack the bearings(probably overkill, but I do that to every vehicle I buy) I think it will be in perfect condition other than normal wear.

Welcome, Al! Congratulations on your Avion! Looking forward to seeing it AND your Excursion.

We have a 1995 F-250 7.3L PowerStroke with 158,000 miles, and a 1987 34W. I added a tuner a year or so ago.... Really woke mine up, but I think the 2000 model year was already tuned wayyyyy better than ours...... Sept 1994 build date.

You are gonna love your combination.

It is 30 ft.
Rear bedroom has two beds...planning on changing that.
Have to go through it and learn this unit.
I have ALL the documentation.
Owner's Manual is pristine.
Need to give it a bath, now that it is out of Minnesota and in Central Florida.
I believe that good ol' dish soap and water is the recommended cleaning liquid?
What I've done so far...
New tires - done - including spare.
New wheel bearings - Ran cold to the touch, all the way down to FL!
Towed like a dream... kinda expected that, considering that it weighs about the same as my Excursion.
Proven Industries Model 2516-J Trailer Lock with hardened steel puck and wheel boots so I can sleep at night...
Got our first reservation at St. George's Island State Park for November '23, so I have some months to get this thing ready.

Great model! We’ve got a 30R as well.

Your trip to St George Island sounds fun. We use to go there quite a bit many years ago (before the Avion).
