Travelcade and our Old Gal

Post by Soonergirl66 »

Our old gal, Tillie,a ‘66 T21 has definitely been around the block a few times, as #25 from the Iowa Travelcade Unit, she attended most if not all, of the Rendevous events beginning in 1967 with the Midwest Rendezvous. This has been documented by the display of decals to the right of the entry door. Many have fallen off over the years, with the last rally in attendance listed as Russellville AR 1979. The original owner served as unit Prez and International Secretary, so she seems to be a rolling piece of Avion Travelcade history. Here are a few pics. Maybe your Avion and mine met in a former life?!

Debbie, my friend had this at her antique shop in NE OK. It had sat there for at least two years, and finally about a month ago I asked to see it. Needs tons of work, but I luv the old girl.
