Question on front fitting

One more questions - working my way through my 1970 26... can you tell?? Below is a picture of a "fitting" on the front of the trailer near the LP tanks. It has a B on it..... although not much else.

In the manual it does say that you can fill the water tank through a "fitting on the front". Is this the correct fitting? It looks like that is what it should do... although since my sofa is in the way, kind of hard to tell where it goes exactly (would prefer not to push water into it without knowing for sure where it goes).

That IS a fill port for the water tank. I don’t have an Avion of that vintage, so I can not describe it any further.
