It has hit the mid 90s here. Monday, we hit the road to dispersed camping in the Gila Wilderness. there were some campers out, but it's a BIG area. We found a spot and settled in. OH MY! we have not camped in warm weather yet. It is glorious!! the windows with the amazing ventilation, the awing! the comfort! So wonderful! [attachment=0]P4270336.JPG

the Avion is so comfortable in colder weather, I just couldn't even imagine how nice it would be in the summer.
I had my doubts about fitting into the spot we were headed for, but it was no problem.

That looks great! I’m so glad you got out and camped. We are considering boondocking on my friends 750 +/- acre ranch out in Blanco this next week. No real BLM type land here in Texas.

sounds like an ideal opportunity! I drove around a bit today checking out a few spots closer to home. there were a few dispersed camping around the foot of the Organ Mtns, but still pretty much desert. I decided it would be better to camp in the driveway with power than out in the desert without. Now if we had a bigger generator...
