Springs

Post by Salty »

I had considered replacing my springs. Looking on the net, I see 4, 5 and 6 leaf double eye springs for 6000 Lb axles. Can anyone enlighten me as to the differences?

I replaced mine with the same, 5 I believe, I’d have to look.

Considered stepping up but the guy at the spring shop said it would be a rougher ride. Makes sense that more leafs would make the springs stiffer.

I also replaced my shocks but with only 4 instead of 8 per chuck cayo.

There is a thread here detailing my install and where to get the specific shocks I needed.
