1978 Avion 22' Class C Motorhome

Post by akble »

Barn Find- very clean- well dirty but clean in sense no damage etc- runs fine - 45K miles Chevy Chassis - Title with it but not registered for a few years so will need some work. Had never heard of Avion so am doing my research - found only 500 made.
Guess I need comments if decent unit and rough idea of what I should offer - owner wants it gone but not setting a price -
Anyone help? photos available - Actually confirmed this is the unit below from over 7 years ago. Less than 2k miles since then and stored inside - does not appear to have any mice problem
Thanks
Andy

Hi, Andy. Welcome. and thank you for joining us here.

Those can be very nice vehicles. Not knowing the current condition and what it might need, I am guessing a price between $5K-$8K?

do not have the VIN in front of me but would say it is 99% sure same vehicle- Purchased from an Estate across the river in Illinois from Iowa. It has same TV/ DVD, ugly steering wheel cover and dint in upper panel on rear drivers side. Miles would match up and photos from the post I listed appear the same. Here are a couple current ones - having trouble transferring current photos from Desktop to this post - guess I need to figure that out [img][/image]

Yes, that has to be the same RV. I LIKE that!!!

I'd offer him $5K and go from there.

Maybe even less..... that previous ad had an asking price of $4900 OBO.............. You can always start low and work up.
