Belly pans
Re: Belly pans
I feel tired just looking at all that great work! The pictures are great and that helps me see the differences on our suspensions. Is that the Mor-Ryde design?
I am gearing up to be more productive, but I have been working from home (teaching from the Avion actually) so I have been way busier during this Stay at Hone thing than expected. Supporting 5 in the household at present.
Great work and good choice for the Mission Creep.

Re: Belly pans
Looking good. I noticed you put Reflectix under your tank. What’s your opinion on foam board vs Reflectix in that area?

Re: Belly pans
As you can see, the Reflectix is taped to the grey water tank. The Reflectix being thin, it runs under the two U channel braces and the two 2" cross beams that span the frame. While foam board may have worked just fine here, the issue that my frame/grey water tank presented me was a narrow clearance between the tank and the cross frame supports.

Re: Belly pans
I WISH it was a MOR-ryde. Nope, just stock.
And thank you for the compliment.

Re: Belly pans
so, it's been a bit since I posted here. Took some time to work on the trailer this week. Rain held me up some,
but I managed to get a fair amount done. Six pretty maids all in a row POR 15 on the frame. The trouble spots on mine were forward, around the frame up front.
The belly pans are set to go on, I just got rained out - twice.
New Springs, new Shocks and an EZ flex system are all on site. I wasn't up for installing torsion axles.

Re: Belly pans
Looks great! That picture of the axles is with a thousand words on how that suspension design works. Glad you are able to get all this work done these days ... I am using my Avion every day in the driveway as my office and use the shower most days after I bike, but I haven’t tackled anything this ambitious lately.
