Thoughts on colors for belt-line stripe on 90 30P

Getting ready for a short trip with the Avion to a nice KOA in Charleston in a couple of days. I got everything hooked up and ready to go this afternoon. If you followed my posts from last summer, you may have noticed that I have started to work on the exterior with a new (wider) lower belt line trim and repainted lower panels in textured black bedliner paint.

This summer I may get into doing the front lower panels to match, and I have started thinking some about repainting the faded and peeling blue and maroon belt line stripes. I think something less 80's and more neutral maybe? Maybe some modest dark gray colors with some kind of accent that coordinates with the truck, but not sure. I don't have much grief over doing something that is not stock as long as it looks like it could have been factory and would be done well. I will be getting a new awing eventually, so I might have some options that I should consider that are understated and neutral. Attached are some of the options for ZipDee awnings.

Just thinking at this point - but spring is just around the corner. Interior colors and truck color (always the same no matter the truck) are included for reference. I might just leave it factory and re-coat, but it is worth getting some input on this. Spouses have final say of course, and I don't really want to be too matchy-matchy.

That Captain Navy Regimental would look awesome with your trailer.

I'm just learning about the different models of Avions, so haven't seen a lower belt line stripe before. Assuming it's the stripe with the logo inserted in the stripe, my first thought is to make sure to not change the "Avion" lettering. I do like the classic regimental or the captain navy regimental. nice trailer!

I would have to look, but I think those lower stripes were added in 1989, maybe 1988? I know the 1987’s did not have them.
