Looking for a 80s 30P

We had an ice storm and a neighbor's tree limb went through the roof and the inside the bathroom. Insurance says it is a total loss because of state law. I don't know yet what the insurance is going to offer but many improvements have been made. I contacted Catyo Repair about repairing the roof should I decide to take some money from the insurance and keep the trailer.

If anyone knows of an 80s 30P with rear bath and twin beds center for sale but would rather have 1989 P30 with rear bath and twin beds center.

As for new postings I'm not getting emails

Hi, Rodney. Welcome to the forum, but I am sorry it is for that reason.

I hope someone can locate an Avion for you, I will keep my eyes open, or.... maybe Chuck can repair it for you? Curious what something like that would cost. I am confident that our Avions will increase in value over the years. If the repair is not too much, maybe it will be wise to keep yours.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Insurance is going to repair my trailer and now I need some help finding a roof vent cover over the bedroom. I have found many that wedge up but as most of you should know I have one that the whole cover cranks straight up with dual cranks. Do any of you know where I could find this cover? I'm rather sure it is 14x14 inches.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey, Rodney. I am glad to hear that your Avion is going to be repaired (assuming that you are good with that).

For the roof vent covers, I have seen some direct replacements like the original Hammond radiused-corner ones. I modified some Ventline covers to work on ours.

When I was replacing mine, those Hammond covers were $80-$90 each so I went the other way.

I will find a link to the original style, and I think I have a thread here showing the vent cover project I did......

Back soon.....

Link to my vent project: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=220&p=874&hilit=vent+cover#p874

Link to original-style replacements: This is for the larger vent cover. The ad says they make it when you order it..... maybe they can make the 14" covers??

Still looking....

Thanks Razorback

I have bookmarked all of those links, not sure of the size of my vent cover yet. Should be the same as yours but I will check.

I keep having to login even when I reply and lose my comments, it is a pain.
