News clip showing foggy road, accident

I saw this news clip today:

Shows a few things: get somewhere off of the road and park until it is safer to travel....... don’t count on someone else to drive safely..... a fun trip can end tragically.

Reading through the article, I thought it was disgusting when the reporter said the accident was caused by the fog. No it wasn’t! The fog didn’t cause whatever happened prior to the video starting (pieces and parts on the road), nor did it cause the semi driver to drive like a maniac in the fog!

Maybe it’s just another example of people today not being able to compose a coherent thought..... the fog “contributed” to the accident, but it certainly didn’t “cause” the accident.

Agreed. Speed not reasonable for conditions comes to mind. I'm sure LEO didn't write the fog a ticket.
