Removing Zolotone paint from 1965 interior
Removing Zolotone paint from 1965 interior
One of the options I’m thinking about for the interior bathroom wall in my 1965 C-10 truck camper is striping the Zolotone paint, then clear coating the aluminum skin. It seems like the aluminum will be in good condition if I can stip the Zolotone completely.
Has anyone here stripped Zolotone? If so did you find that the aluminum been etched with a primer?
Has anyone here clear coated an Avions interior skin once the original paint was off?
Also my expectation is that the interior skin is not anodized like the outside, can anyone confirm this?

Re: Removing Zolotone paint from 1965 interior
Did you find out any information about the interior skin? I too am considering removing the paint, but, wish to learn if the interior wall skin is in fact aluminum. I have a 1967. Thank you in advance.
