Our first vintage rv 1976 Dodge Avion 22'

Post by polcat »

Hello my name is Bob J and this is our first vintage rv. We bought it 2 days ago it is a Avion 22 foot 1976 Dodge chassis 440. It is in pretty good shape just needing clean up and a fuel pump on the generator.
On a sales brochure it refers it to be a prototype :D

Hi, Bob J! Welcome to the forum!

I really look forward to hearing and seeing more of your Avion motorhome. Those are definitely few and far between.... especially yours, being a prototype.

Hey Bob,

That is very cool. Is it aluminum/metal under the paint? Above the entry door looks like it could be. I’d love to know more about your coach. Could you post the sales brochure for the archives here?

Thanks for posting and welcome,

Yes it is aluminum from the cab back. Above the cab is fiberglass. roof top ac works great but the
chassis ac has been removed. I have the compressor but with no knowledge of ac systems I would need help
to re install.
