Did you use vinyl plank flooring? If so, did you use an underlayment membrane?

Thanks! If I'm not mistaken it is Allure plank flooring. I bought it from HomeDepot for ~ $400. My friend just laid it on the old flooring. It shrinks a bit in winter but expands again when the weather gets warm.
