First off, thanks to everyone who has shared knowledge on this site. I’m a new owner and digging through here has been really helpful.
I believe I have identified a leak at the belt-line moulding. It seems the PO tried repairing with silicone and is causing water to pool inside of the channel and seep in at the joint. Also the grey sealant is very cracked.
I may have missed a thread, but can someone walk me through removing and sealing? I have parrbond and butyl tape but not sure how to proceed on my first exterior project.
I haven’t gotten a riveter yet and I’m curious what kind of rivets I need to use on this piece. Will I need cleco clamps ? Is this piece structural at all?
