Our 1979 30P

Post by Farris »

We just bought this. Haven't even towed it to a new spot to get started working on it yet.

That looks awesome!!!

I see you have a supply of commercial carpet squares...... I did the same in ours. I covered the front living room floor, the hallway aft of the dinette past the bathroom and into the rear bedroom. I decided to keep the vinyl floor covering in the entryway and in the kitchen area until I had some time to evaluate the possibility of carpeting that area too. After a short time, I decided to not carpet that area. Just use a runner and a smaller throw rug on top of the vinyl..... Easy to clean both the vinyl and the rugs in that high-traffic area. The commercial squares are doing well and are easy to sweep with a broom or vacuum.

Oh nice! It seems like the squares would be a quick easy way to cover the floor. They actually came with the trailer. We were thinking we might look at vinyl plank instead but need to spend some time with the trailer and see what it's saying to us.

Any updated pictures? I’m just getting started on the same Avion but mine is fully gutted.

We have made some changes. Ended up having to replace all the water lines and install a new toilet.

Still more to do.

Looking nice. I’ll have to do all the waterlines as well.
