A few questions.

As far as the stacks go. Are these original and what were they venting? It looks like the refrigerator and the heater.

Then there is a screen disc with two wires coming out of it on the back of the trailer, see photo, was this for a light fixture or something else? was it original? I can’t figure out why the screened covering.

See picture of copper pipes. One looks for water and one for gas. Is that correct? Any information on these appreciated.

Lastly, there is a pipe that looks like a water fill with an air valve. Is this for pressurizing the water?

Thanks so much….I’m sure more questions to come.

I can only identify the last three pictures.... No idea what that screened fitting is for.
The third to last night be a drain valve?
Next to last looks like either propane lines or maybe an external water line?
And the last is definitely the water fill port, and that IS how the tank would get pressured.

So we are making progress but have questions with more to come. We have taken off the inside skins and removed the insulation everywhere except the upper nose “cone” and tail which isn’t aluminum but some type of masonite or molded plywood?
I’m looking for suggestions how to proceed. Do you drop these two large pieces to gain access to underneath them? Will they come down in one piece and be easy to reuse? I’m assuming there is no way to have new pieces remade. Any and all advice appreciated. Including a few pictures.

Oh, maybe it is fiberglass? It almost looks like cardboard around the edges. I’m afraid to drop both pieces without some advice first.

Hopefully someone with experience with your vintage of trailer will be able to provide better input, but my guess is that those caps are fiberglass. In our 1987 trailer, I am sure they are.

Thanks Razorback.
After looking again it definitely is not fiberglass but some type of material that almost resembles cardboard, which I know it is not.
Looking for anyone that has dealt with this issue and how best to proceed.
