Long time RV owner 13th is a 34V project

Post by airguardian »

I remember the Avion trailer in the 70's and 80's. Every one I looked at was a 3 axle and I always thought they were nice looking RVs but too heavy for me. I found a deal and decided to take on the project of updating the 34V to look more modern on the inside. Towing it home a 7 hour trip I was amazed at the ease of towing. My 28 ft Forest River is a harder pull. Fuel economy incredible averaging 14.9 mpg on I-95 flat ground with a F150. Towing my Forest River down hill maybe 11 mpg. The shape a low clearance makes all the difference.

Hi, airguardian! Glad to have you here. You have been busy with RVs over the years! Looking forward to hear and see what you do to your 34V.
