Porch light
Porch light
I came across this link on FB...

These lights are really tough to find, but I think $50 is a bit steep for a fixture like that. I may at some point just cut out an opening for a recessed circular light similar to what—dare I say—Airstream uses.

Re: Porch light
We removed ours and refurbished the socket inside and put new lenses on the originals. Can get the lenses still for $12 here: https://odmrv.com/catalog/index.php?mai ... ts_id=1243
The chrome isn't like new but otherwise functions awesome with the LED bulbs we put in there.

Good to know about those lenses. I might need to order a few to throw in the drawer.

Re: Porch light
I paid the coin....not cheap, but they are flush, and point the light a little more down then out like the round ones.KYAvion wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2020 11:04 pm I came across this link on FB...

When I see what a new Airstream sells for I look at 50$ as a deal.
We are pretty lucky to own an Avion.
BTW, that fixture I believe is back to the NLA status...... I hope some more do come back into stock....I think it is made in Taiwan now.
Cheers, Scott

Re: Porch light
Thanks for the link I was looking at having a 3D printer try and make me a lense because I wasn’t able to find a replacement but these are way cheaper so I just ordered two of them. My porch light didn’t work so I had to remove some rivets on the upper panel next to the door and run a new wire to it. It works great now but it is missing the lense, well it’s not missing it is just falling apart because of degradation. Now it won’t be. Thanks again.
