Factory vent fan knobs

Post by KYAvion »

Anyone know where to find the knobs that go with the factory fan in the bathroom? One of mine has cracked.

I've had good success with epoxy when a knob splits like the one in your picture. Another source should be people who have swapped out their vents for other brands. Hammond made the ones like yours, and they have been out of business for many years. You can also use standard window cranks in place of what you have. Sooner or later those Hammond cranks will crack and/or break, so your problem is fairly common. Hope this at least helps. I have also found a few that have been on shelves in campground stores and RV dealer parts departments left over from years ago, but that is less common now due to the passage of time. Best, Tim

Great idea! Not sure why I didn’t think of a standard window crank. Works great!

I ended up swapping it for a metal one, but thanks!
