Curtain rods hook slides

I’ve removed the curtains, and sewn new ones, but wanted to keep the hardware original. The traverse rods appear to be stainless steel, but the slides the curtain hooks insert into are some sort of steel alloy. As you can see, they were fairly corroded. But after a soak for a few days in white vinegar, they cleaned up well. A couple of the end stop were missing.
