No lights on battery?
Strange electrical issue and need help to diagnose?
On shore power all 12v circuits work. The radio has a hum that isn’t steady... it tends to pulsate. Some times the hum is worse than other times. At first I thought it was just an old radio?
If I disconnect from shore power the radio hum disappears. On battery only the radio and 12v receptacles have power. All lights and fans do not work.
I have checked ground on chassis and on all grounds at 12v fuse panel. All good.
I have checked 12 v power at all fuses. All good.
The one thing that I question is the dimmer for the overhead light. The owners manual says it is push on/off.... or twist to dim. And that the dimming function will not work on battery.
My dimmer does not have a push on/off function, only twist. Possibly replaced by a PO? Only 2 wires are going to the switch.
Does any one have a more detailed wiring diagram, or understand how the original dim switch worked(assuming mine was replaced). Any help is much appreciated.
