Everbrite vs Toonbrite

Post by KYAvion »

On the surface these appear to be similar products. Anyone know more about Toonbrite?

Looks interesting and possibly easier to apply than everbrite?
I may have to try it on my SilverStreak as she is pretty heavily oxidized.

Thanks for the heads up.

Less expensive too. The cleaner appears to be an acid wash, so some care should probably be taken when applying it.

I spoke with an individual at Toonbrite today and he said their cleaner wouldn’t be necessary on an older anodized surface. He said a wipe down with acetone should be sufficient to clean the surface prior to applying their clearcoat. He also said spraying provides the best results, but that a wide foam brush does a good job as well. Like most coatings, he said thin coats are best.
