Searched high and low for an alternative to black and found it at Patio Chair Supplies. They have over 50 different colors. The mid-rub-rail takes 1.5 in vinyl strapping. It's stout so you'll have to heat it to soften it up (inexpensive heat gun from Harbor Freight; wore one out) leather gloves so you don't burn your fingers, and a common/flat head heavy screw driver to wedge the strap into the channel.
Someone in this thread was right about the lower-rub-rail. It's available on eBay (get the 1.0 in) and not nearly as stout as the chair vinyl. You may have a problem matching colors.
I went this route because I didn't want black.

So lets say someone... um me possibly, snapped off one of the aluminum tabs on the end of the belt line... has anyone cut their own or possibly had Cayo cut some?

I made one with aviation snips and some thin gauge aluminum I got from Lowe’sDepot.
I cut it a wee oversized and filed it to the correct fit.

I am finally getting around to this, so I called Cayo today and the beltline is .80 per foot. The lower trim near the floor is .20 per foot. Now I just need to get measurements to place an order for my 30R.

I am looking to replace my lower rub rail insert finally. I tried a sample of the AP Products 011-367 and it was about 0.25 inches narrow...but have used this stuff around the Hehr windows on my 1980 34V perfectly.
Appreciate if anyone has advice besides "calling Cayo" - thank you!

Ended up using AP Products 011-312 Black 1" to replace the lower rub rail and looks great. It should also fit the rails around the windows too. 10 cents per foot.

Re: Rub rail/Beltline insert..... sources?
Can anyone attest to the longer term durability of some of the inserts? I've tried a few different kinds of the orange vinyl inserts and they all look great for about 6 months and after one winter they are cracked and broken and falling apart.
I love the look of the orange but would accept a black rubber if it would last. It's hard to believe there isn't something out there that would be able to hold up. I've not tried the one from Cayo - I've tried an Airstream Supply and Vintage Trailer Supply versions and I suspect that they're the same. I've replaced these three times now and it's getting old. No pun intended.
Thanks,
Gregor
