Hello we just bought our first avion

Post by Avion nut »

Getting her ready for a 4 hour trip home. I'm putting new tires , bearings, and breaks, fixing the back tail lamps. I drove her out of a back yard was sitting for 15 years. Drove about 8 miles to my second home in upstate new York. Towed really good. Now this weekend the big trip home to new Jersey. Going to cross my fingers
everything goes as planned. My plan is a complete overhaul . Finding all leaks. New floor , new appliances, make seating with a fold down table in the front. A total gut job. Basically everything new. Saving cabinets .

Hello, Avion Nut! Welcome to the forum!

I love the style of those years of Avions. Looks like you found a nice one and have a good plan for it.

Good luck with your journey to New Jersey.

what a lovely camper! I like your handle, I'm an Avion nut for sure! Hope you grow to love the warm glow of the wood and don't gut it too fast! I love the lay out of your floor plan!
