Rub rail beltline in smaller Avions?

Post by wirelessguyny »

Quick question for the group.

I’fe seen the posts about the 34ft Avion’s but my unit is a 1971 V-25.

I have two different size rails. One tracks along the bottom (thicker) and the other does a big back and forth loop from one side over the rear to the other and then back again. (Thinner)

Does anyone know what kind of replacement to recommend?
The colors have faded but I think it was originally red.

The bottom one is your belt line and I don't know about getting a red replacement, you may end up with black.
Cayo, Amazon or Ebay. You'll need to remove a short piece to get the dimensions.

Thanks.

The center beltline rail looks to be 1/2 but its totally flat in my trailer.

The bottom rail is 1 1/2in and rounded

I found some of these at airstream websites but it all seems super expensive. Shipping was more than $30 too. I’m guessing it’s something of a captive market I suppose.
