Connecting Frame, Floor, and Wall

Post by mtjarrett »

I just bought a 28' 1977 Travelcader from my brother. He had started gutting it and has removed the top layer of floor plywood all through the front section (back to just aft of the door). Some of the bottom layer of plywood has rotted as well, especially under the walls. Right now, there is no place for me to see how the frame, floor, and walls were originally connected. I would love some explanation on how that happened and/or some ideas how to replace the floor and connect the frame, floor, and walls now without having to remove the whole body.

Thanks y'all.

Thanks KYAvion. I'll continue my questions over there. It looks like it's exactly my situation.

Feel free to stick with this thread if you want to keep it specific to your trailer with pics, etc.
