Cabinet refinishing

Post by Salty »

over the weekend I did some cabinet refinishing and in most cases, reskinned the cabinet doors.
I've been redoing the wire covers in the cabinets, to something a bit more elegant and allowing for more space.

This is the over dinette cabinet frame. It comes out fairly easily, 12 square head screws. You'll want someone with you to help catch it though.

Nice job! Your wire covers literally take up only a fraction of the space! As large as the originals were, I thought there would have been more going on under them.

Thank you!
I think they were that big to cover the wire nuts. I prefer space in the cabinets to be as available as possible. If you look at the over bed cabinet pics, you'll see the speaker enclosures were relocated under the cabinets as well.

Is that one of those flat panel LED’s on the ceiling as well? Do you like it pretty well?
