Replacement tires

One of the trailers we are considering needs new tires. From past post I seem to remember that radials present issues although it seems that there are few bias ply offerings available.

What are people using on their Avions now... and what experiences have people had. I know that one needs to use ST tires although, will radials work on an early 70's 26 foot Avion?
