Rear Floor replacement mild bathroom renovation

Post by Salty »

I recently ripped out the floor in my 34V. Not a task would wish on anyone and upfront I want to thank Silverloaf for his suggestions. I'll let the pics show the progression. While it isn't completely done as yet, as you can see the floor is in and things are moving along nicely.

Also, before anyone asks, yes that bowl of spaghetti port side aft is the temporary wiring while replacing the floor

Nice progress, Salty!

When I was working on my floor, I took a picture of the toilet flange with my cup of coffee next to it. Not the best choice in background accents.

Thought I'd update this thread. The bathroom is nearly complete, a few minor tweaks here and there. This is how it looks today.

That finished out very well. I like door finishes especially.

So much work to get that all done ....looks like about 4 months?

Total, about that. The floor came out and went in in the course of about 10 days. After that, between the wiring in the area and refinishing/replacing, I'd say 4 months, working on weekends and holidays.
