Camping In The Driveway
It's been exactly 2 years since we started the restoration process on our '88 30P. We will be spending our 1st night in it tonight....in the driveway!
Our home is now empty of all furniture except for 2 chairs and a TV. The trailer now becomes our "home" as we finish preparing our house for sale. Frankly, with boxes scattered all over the house, the trailer looks a lot more inviting. We are new to trailer life; this will be a good time of orientation for us.
We will be moving to Georgia (from Michigan) by the end of September. We might find ourselves living in our trailer until we find permanent digs. We are excited about living more simply and with less material entrapments.

Congrats! It’s hard to believe it’s been two years already. You’ve done a lot of work to your Avion, so now you get to enjoy your efforts. Be safe traveling and let us know how things go.

Re: Camping In The Driveway
Thank you for the encouragement, Razorback and KY.
The 1st night went well, considering we morphed from a pillow-top queen mattress to firm twins. The trailer was extremely quiet, even with 2 of 3 MaxxAir roof ventilators running at 1/3 speed.
Of course, we have yet to put the plumbing system to the test. There's plenty of time yet for that.
We are truly looking forward to this new adventure. You have already been there. We have a lot of catching up to do!
