Door Step is Stuck Shut

Has anyone had this issue? We have never been able to pull the step out more than one inch. It *seems* like the step is rubbing / pressing against the floor of the trailer underneath before it can fold out, but really cannot tell.

Also I did not see any locks on the sides like the manual describes...so this could very much be operator error.

Appreciate any help the group may have. Thank you!

The only "locks" I know of are the clasps that hold the cover over the step when it is stowed.

Something is obviously bent or binding, because the folded step should slide smoothly straight out.

Can you get down and look inside that area as you try to move it out?

The step was indeed bent. I am guessing too much pressing on the front when it was unfolded over time caused it. I bent it back a little bit and was able to get the step out. Will probably replace it at some point.

Good! Glad to hear you got it figured out.

You never know.... I have seen some that have been left hanging out and get bashed into something.
