34v cover

Post by 9502Green »

I’m inheriting a 1986 34v Silver Edition that I used to run all over the country with my grandpa Mike Green back in the day. I’m super excited and want to buy a cover for it. Any suggestions? Also I’d be interested in connecting with people in similar situations where the Avion is still in the family. We used to run with people from Michigan and Texas.

Welcome, and congratulations on your inheritance!! Hopefully you'll post some pictures soon?

First off, you'll get pro's and con's of covers. We have one for ours and it works well. The key for us is to keep it snug on the trailer so the wind doesn't make it flap and cause scuff marks on the shell. Ours is made of Tyvek, ADCO brand, originally purchased at Camping World. Be sure to note that the body of your Avion is 31'.... it is 34' tip to tail.

Although our Avion was not part of our family, I DID grow up in an Avion family..
