1963 Avion

Post by jimjenmiller »

Thanks for adding me.

Question: I found a 1963 Avion for sale. They are asking $5,000.00. Does anyone feel this is a good price? It looks to be in decent from the pictures. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

What length is the Avion? It seems shorter Avions are more expensive.

Does it have a title?

What is the condition of the subfloor and frame? I would inspect the subfloor in front and back of the trailer (corners) and around the entry door and windows for soft spots. You can also open the storage compartment doors and inspect the frame/subfloor.

The expensive appliance are the fridge, furnace, AC, and water heater. The trailer price varies based on their condition/status.

Not knowing any of these, I would think the price is reasonable and in the ballpark. I would check the items I listed and if all is good make a $4000 offer to start the negotiations :)

Good luck. Avions are amazing trailers.

Thanks for the input. It does have title, new fridge, new plumbing, and floor. I am unsure of the length but we will be sure to check the areas you suggested. Will post pictures once we know more. Thanks again.
