I have a PD 708 converter that I cannot tell if its charging my battery, the converter says it has the charger. I have it plugged into shore power, when i checked it this morning it was at 12.2v, not great. Is there a fuse for charging? iIcannot seem to locate one.
If I need a new converter, can you recommend one? Also, what size? I see they typically start at 45 amp and go up from there. I have changed my lighting to LED, so I cant imagine I need a great big converter.
Would a new unit be a simple install? I would think it should have two 12v outputs, battery leads and 120v input. My trailer is a 1975 and appears to be original.
