What kind of screws for the floor?
I’m in the middle of rebuilding my 28j floor. Need to know what type of screws to use for the aluminum rub rail that sink Into the wooden floor members.

Avion used #8 x 1" pan head square drive screws to secure the aluminum rail to the edge of the floor. They are usually available at RV centers. Below is a decription of the screw:

Square drive screws were used in production because they were less likely to strip out the head. In your case, a Philips head screw should work just fine.

Thanks. I was thinking of using stainless the last set turner to mulch when they rusted.
