Dump ‘de Dump

Post by silverloaf »

We need a dump new hose and fittings for our trailer.

Any thoughts as to what to buy, and what works best at campgrounds?

Thanks in advance!

We have just a standard ol’ stinky slinky.... nothing fancy.

But when I replace it, I will opt for a heavier-duty hose.

Where do you stow it? Our trailer came with an aluminum storage box mounted low in front of the rear bumper.

Yep, ours is the same and that is exactly what that compartment is made for. I cannot remember if I have 3 or 4 sections, but I have as much as I can cram in that compartment. I have only used all of it when I am at home and want to dump via the sewer line clean-out.

I think the older Avions with a tube rear bumper used that as the slinky storage.

The Sewer Solution is also something to look into. I wouldn't use it at a dump station, but at a full hook up site or at home it comes in handy.
