1987 34W - Rock Guard Painted
Re: 1987 34W - Rock Guard Painted
Went outside today and remembered to take some pictures of the rock guard. Still looking good, even though it is outside all the time and faces west into the intense afternoon sun (Man, I sure will be glad when I can get a cover built to park under!). So far, painting is the BEST thing I have found to do with the rock guard.

Many thanks! You really did a nice job! I’ll start on mine this weekend. Have a great day! Heber
Re: 1987 34W - Rock Guard Painted
Well, here it is Spring 2019. I spent Sunday cleaning the Avion and it reminded me to give a status report about this..... still looking VERY good!!!! As I was washing the trailer, I went over the rock guard with a soapy, wet rag. Nothing but dirt came off on the rag..... no sign of oxidizing paint.
I can hardly imagine anything being easier, cheaper, and providing any better results.
