Fixing endcap dent

I believe the shop that worked on my Avion put a dent in the endcap of my Avion a couple of years back and they did not report it :(
I noticed it several months later.
Found a fix based on Airforum member T. G. Twinkie's post. Put a tube on the dent, and a piece of plywood (that had a small hole drilled in the center) on top of the tube, and then used our vacuum cleaner to pop out the dent. I believe its 90% fixed! I used our personal vacuum cleaner (not a shop vac). I expect better results with a shop vac.
Here are some photos.

Unfortunately when Tapatalk took over our prior webhost backups of pics couldn't be made, so many pics were lost. Fortunately we are with a new host now and have full access to the file system, so that this cannot occur again.

Thanks...I'll have to give that a try. We were kinda proud of dented up, polished hulk. Tom '61T20
