Can someone tell me what the silver thing is to the right of the stove top in this picture from a 1966 Avion for sale ad?

Possibly a water purifier? I saw mention of an optional feature in a brochure.

This is a water filter of sorts..... There was another picture on a different FB group of Vintage Trailers and I asked the same question.
