Help finding truck

Post by russedgar »

I am looking in Arizona and Southern California for a 2005 Dodge 3500 to pull our 30R. Is there anyone on the list that would be willing to view an actual truck and tell me IF it is really rust free? I found our exact truck in Tucson with a few less miles but do not feel comfortable buying without looking.

Best regards,

Russ

Well, found a possible truck in Pahrump, Nevada. If anyone on the list is near there, I would be happy to pay you to take a test drive.

Are you looking for a diesel? 4x4? Extended cab? I’m in So Cal. Riverside area.

Yes, I am looking for a 2004, 2005, or 2006 Dodge 3500 Cummins extended cab long bed. We actually have a 2005 but it is showing some rust and has 235,000 miles.

There are a few in the local Orange County and Riverside Craigslist. Anywhere from 15-25,000 dollars and up. Not sure what your budget is

Thanks Overdrive,

I use SearchTempest to search the Craigslists in that area. The price is really not the factor but rather being able to inspect the truck to see if it is really as nice as the owner says it is.

I’m selling a F250 diesel and I had a out of state buyer who set up a inspection. He had a company come out and give him a full run down of the truck. He ended up buying a v10. Not sure why because the 7.3 is a better engine imo. But hey his money. Another guy had me take it to a shop but he just flaked out.
A real seller who has a solid truck for sale won’t have a issue having it looked at by a inspection company.
