Dish Rack

Post by KYAvion »

Any suggestions on a decent looking dish rack to fit the rather small factory sink? Looks like it needs to be about 9.5" X 11".

Seems like we went to the store and got a black vinyl-coated wire rack with a drain board..... not sure what the size is... it's a small one, for sure. And, when we use ours, we put the cover down on the stove and set the dish rack/drain board there... not sure if the rack will fit by itself in the sink.... I'd have to check. (When it dries up a bit, I will slip outside and look and let you know.)

The dish rack we have is made by Rubbermaid.... found the same one on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-Antim ... B000IZ792O

The wire rack will fit in the Avion sink, but the feet on the bottom of the rack do not touch the bottom of the sink... at least not in our sink.
I did not try to "form" the rack to make it sit all the way down in the sink, but I really don't see the need.

I will have pictures from our Avion soon.

Just realized by your pic that my 30R has a much smaller sink--about 9.5" X 11". I may at some point just put in a larger sink. This one is pretty small.

Hmmmm, sorry that didn't work out. Never would have thought the sink would be smaller.... learn something new every day!

My wife found a dish rack at the dollar store. It's obviously not high-end, but it slips down into the sink just fine.

She bought tons of gadgets for the trailer at the dollar store. Much of it is a step down from standard duty full time home use, which is perfect for efficient RV kitchen use.
