AVION Travel Trailers

have found a 86 25 h for $5500. It is missing the patio awning and there is hail damage on the roof. No leaks and everything is working. There is a prior salvage title on this from the hail damage. NADA is $2000. I would like to but this but I am not sure if 5500 is a fair price. Can anyone help?

I don't usually think the NADA prices are reasonable at all for Avions, for some reason.

If I were you, I would split the difference and offer them a $3000-$3500 price and see what they would do.

It all depends on what you think it is worth, and whether a salvage title bothers you at all. I would imagine the title is the result of the hail damage? With the insurance companies using NADA values also, it won't take much hail damage for the insurance company to total it.

NADA definitely isn't something to go by for an Avion, Airstream, etc.

I would think the salvaged title would drop the resale value significantly.

How bad is the hail damage? Pics?
