Thank you, Perry. Hours and hours of TLC have gone in to our Avion over the last 3 years..... probably same as yours!

Thank you. It looks pretty good now, but it still has it's share of oxidation. I had real good results removing oxidation on the lower front left corner using an orbital polisher and some aluminum truck box cleaner that I get at Lowes. There are other areas that I'll try it on, hopefully with good results.

Over the last three years, I have tried Bon Ami (worked pretty good) to remove oxidation. Mostly, it has been a matter of covering it up rather than removing it. Things like ParFe, Penetrol, etc. Until I ran across the Better Built Truck Box Polish http://www.lowes.com/pd/Better-Built-8- ... sh/3035639.
So far, I have had very good results with it. I still need to try it on some other areas, but I think it has actually removed the oxidation on the lower front left of the trailer. One spot on our trailer that will really determine its effectiveness is the skin between the kitchen and bathroom windows. I also used this polish on part of the refrigerator vent cover that is on the side of the trailer. The part I did came out looking like a mirror. It'll take some time to do the entire cover. The propane cylinders shined up very quickly.

Little by little, it IS getting to look pretty good!

Here is a picture of the day we brought it home.......

We got our Avion in Hancock, MI.

I like to check a webcam once in awhile that shows a lift bridge between Hancock (left of image) and Houghton (right of image).

Checked it earlier today and you couldn't see the bridge, it was snowing so heavily! I'm glad I don't live there!!!
